In my role as Vice President I help shape the strategic vision of the company and oversee and actively participate in every aspect of operations. What you learn quickly about Artsmarketing is that our people are our greatest asset. Our representatives are the heart and soul of our company. We are here to support, encourage and recognize their work as they make countless calls representing our clients.
When joining Artsmarketing in 1993 my goal was to gain experience to go on to work with a major Theatre Company. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be so lucky as to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing Arts and non-profit organizations in one position. Each day is different than the next. In the morning I can be working on a projection for a membership campaign, at noon write play descriptions for a Broadway line-up and in the afternoon I can be strategizing on how to best convert a Pops single ticket buyer into a 7 concert line-up in a collaborative client meeting.
My favourite thing about working at AMS is that it's a great feeling to know that your work has a purpose.
