Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at Home

The VSO had to make the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019/2020 season, but upon reaching out to subscribers, support from the community has been overwhelmingly positive with many patrons even opting to donate their tickets from the canceled shows. The work being done by the VSO team has been great to watch deserves a congratulations on such a successful start!

The 101-year-old VSO is both a Juno and Grammy-award winner, and is the largest arts organization in Western Canada, third within Canada. They, along with Music Director Otto Tausk are committed to presenting passionate, high-quality performances of classical, popular, and culturally-diverse music that aims to create meaningful engagement with audiences of all ages. This mission was only enhanced with lockdowns happening in mid-March. Everyone at the VSO wanted to ensure that music could continue to be shared within their communities, especially now when it is most needed. As part of their "VSO at Home" series, please enjoy a rousing performance of Star Wars’ Cantina Band!
