This sea turtle calls the New England Aquarium home.

The New England Aquarium in downtown Boston: home to 20,000 animals and a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. With over a million visitors a year, a newly-opened Indo-Pacific coral reef exhibit, and at a time when whale watching tours would just be starting up, the NEAQ has instead shifted its focus to creating daily Virtual Visits, featuring animal feedings, training demonstrations, and live Q&As to engage with their visitors. These videos, in addition to at-home projects and activities posted to their website, have been essential to keeping the public informed about the work still being done at the aquarium when soliciting donations to their Mission Forward Fund in addition to our membership campaign. As an example, here is a video of a Harbor Seal getting her nails trimmed – just one example of the ongoing critical care necessary for each animal who calls the NEAQ their home.
